Part of 60 Freeway to be closed for 6 hours

The Pomona Freeway will be closed in both directions through the San Gabriel Valley from 11 tonight until 5 a.m. Tuesday while crews expand the roadway with carpool lanes. Traffic on the 60 Freeway between the 605 Freeway and 7th Avenue in Hacienda Heights will be affected, Caltrans said.
Detours will be posted, but Caltrans is encouraging motorists to use the 10 Freeway between the 57 and 605 freeways. Motorists can check the Caltrans website -- www.dot.ca.gov/dist07/news/releases -- for additional information.
