2 deputies injured when their motorcycles collide

Two Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries when their motorcycles collided shortly after 7 a.m. Saturday on Pacific Coast Highway, authorities said.
The deputies were taken by helicopter to UCLA Medical Center.
Their names were not immediately released.
The highway was closed for two hours as authorities investigated the crash, which occurred near Big Rock Drive while the deputies were on traffic patrol, a sheriff’s spokesman said.
