Foul play suspected in security guard’s death

A security guard who was found unconscious at a church construction site early Friday and later died of unspecified injuries was believed to have been slain, police said.
Michael Thomas Garry, 52, was found about 6 a.m. when officers responded to an “unknown trouble” call at the construction site of Cottonwood Church in the 4500 block of Katella Avenue.
He died later at UCI Medical Center in Orange,
