No. 4 Oklahoma runs past Tulsa

Allen Patrick rushed for 145 yards and two touchdowns, Sam Bradford threw two long touchdown passes to Juaquin Iglesias and No. 4 Oklahoma raced past host Tulsa, 62-21, Friday night.

DeMarco Murray also ran for two touchdowns and returned a kickoff for another score. Patrick ran 29 yards for his first touchdown, and scored from one yard out to give Oklahoma a 35-14 lead.

The Sooners (4-0), the highest-scoring team in the nation, have put up at least 50 points in all four games.

That’s only the second time in school history they’ve had such a streak -- they also did it in 2003, capped by a 65-13 victory over Texas.

Paul Smith threw two touchdown passes and ran for another to lead Tulsa (2-1), which scored more touchdowns than Oklahoma’s first three opponents combined.

Florida State suspended junior linebacker Geno Hayes and senior fullback Joe Surratt after they were arrested in a bar fight that resulted in felony charges against one of them.

They were arrested early Friday at a bar near campus, police and school officials said. Police said Hayes had to be subdued with a Taser and Surratt struck a police officer.

New Orleans police arrested Tulane running back Ray Boudreaux in connection with the Bourbon Street stabbing that left five people hurt last weekend. Tulane suspended Boudreaux from school and the team.

Boudreaux was arrested early Friday at his home in Metairie on five counts of attempted murder, according to police, who said the knife used in the stabbings was found in his house.
