St. Louis 9, at Cincinnati 3: Albert Pujols hit a pair of solo home runs, and the Cardinals matched their season high with four homers.
at San Diego 8, Philadelphia 3: Chad Reineke pitched five innings and got his first hit and RBI to win his major league debut.
Milwaukee 4, at Dodgers 3 (10 innings): J.J. Hardy’s run-scoring single with two out in the 10th won it.
