Records: Kings 13-12-4, Sharks 24-3-2.

Record vs. Sharks: 0-2-0.

Update: The Kings have won three of their last four games. Another win would put them two games over .500 (at least the NHL’s definition of .500) for the first time since the 2005-06 season. They scored only one goal in losing back-to-back games to San Jose in their first two games this season. The league-leading Sharks haven’t lost in regulation time since Nov. 9 and are 11-0-2 since then. Jeremy Roenick of the Sharks injured his shoulder last week and is expected to be out at least three weeks.
