Update: Kings goaltender Erik Ersberg will be out at least two weeks with a pulled groin. He was not placed on injured reserve, but Jonathan Quick was recalled from Manchester of the American Hockey League. Quick had a 2.68 goals-against average and .919 save percentage in 14 games with Manchester. The Kings placed forward Brad Richardson on injured reserve. He has missed the last six games with a foot injury. The Rangers lead the Atlantic Division, but have struggled with a 2-4-1 record in their last six games. They are only two for their last 34 on the power play. The Kings are 1-3-2 against teams that lead their divisions as of Tuesday.
