* at Portland 94, Atlanta 93: Brandon Roy scored 24 points, including the go-ahead free throw with 2.3 seconds left, and the Trail Blazers erased a 19-point deficit to beat the Hawks. The victory ended a two-game losing streak for Portland, which improved its record at the Rose Garden to 18-4 by overcoming the Hawks’ 51% first-half shooting and beating them for the 12th time in their last 13 meetings.

* at Golden State 106, New York 104: Stephen Jackson scored 16 of his 25 points in the fourth quarter and Andris Biedrins grabbed an NBA season-high 26 rebounds to help the Warriors rally from a 10-point third-quarter deficit. The Warriors, who missed 17 of their first 19 three-point attempts, have trailed by double digits in 11 of their 26 wins.

* Phoenix 88, at Chicago 77: Amare Stoudemire scored 24 points, and the Suns pulled away with a 12-0 run early in the fourth quarter. Leandro Barbosa scored 13 points and started the run with a baseline drive and two three-pointers, helping the Suns get their sixth win in seven games. Phoenix won despite making only five of 25 three-point shots.

* at Dallas 90, Denver 85: Dirk Nowitzki scored 16 of his 32 points in the fourth quarter, including 14 of the Mavericks’ last 16, to help hold off the Nuggets. He also was four for four on free throws in the final minute to help keep the Nuggets at bay in their second defeat since losing Carmelo Anthony to a sprained ankle last Monday.

* Sacramento 103, at Seattle 101: Kevin Martin scored the Kings’ final five points, including a frantic race the length of the court with no timeouts left for a 20-footer at the buzzer, and the Kings extended the SuperSonics’ club-record losing streak to 14. Damien Wilkins had tied it at 101-101 with 6.1 seconds left. Martin had 26 points.

* Utah 97, at Houston 89: Deron Williams had 17 points and 12 assists, Kyle Korver scored 17 points, including two late three-pointers, and the Jazz took advantage of Yao Ming’s absence to beat the Rockets. Korver made six of nine three-point attempts. Yao sat out a game for the first time this season because of an upper respiratory infection.

* at Milwaukee 105, Washington 102: Mo Williams scored 25 points, including two three-pointers in the final 1:19 of overtime, to help the Bucks overcome a career-high 40 points from the Wizards’ Caron Butler. The Wizards had led, 99-95, with 2:18 left in overtime after overcoming an 11-point deficit in the final 92 seconds of regulation.

* at Minnesota 98, New Jersey 95: Al Jefferson had a career-high 40 points and 19 rebounds and made the go-ahead free throws with 11 seconds left to send the Nets to their ninth straight loss. The Timberwolves trailed by 15 points with 11 minutes left before winning for the third time in their last four games.

* at Orlando 96, Boston 93: Hedo Turkoglu made a three-pointer at the buzzer to beat the Kevin Garnett-less Celtics, who have suffered five of their eight losses this month. Garnett sat out because of an abdominal strain suffered Friday against Minnesota. Boston, still an NBA-best 34-8, also fell to 6-5 against the Southeast Division.

* Cleveland 98, at Lakers 95: LeBron James scored 14 of his 41 points in the final period, and the Cavaliers beat the Lakers for the fifth straight time. Kobe Bryant scored nine of his 33 points in the fourth quarter and also had 12 rebounds and six assists for the Lakers, who couldn’t get off a three-point attempt at the final buzzer.
