Tim Jefferson scored on a one-yard run and Air Force (7-2) held off Army (3-6) at West Point, N.Y., 16-7. . . . Devin Moore ran for 234 yards and scored three touchdowns as Wyoming (3-6, 1-5) broke a five-game losing streak with a 35-10 win over San Diego State (1-8, 0-5) at Laramie, Wyo. . . . In games involving Southland teams: The Chapman (4-3) defense did not give up an offensive touchdown in a 21-7 victory over host Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (2-5). . . . Jackson Damron missed a 30-yard field-goal attempt as time expired and Cal Lutheran (5-2, 3-1 in the SCIAC) lost to Occidental, 24-21, at Thousand Oaks. Occidental is 7-0, 4-0. . . . Central Washington (9-1) bolted out to a 30-6 halftime lead and the Wildcats cruised to a 36-6 victory over host Azusa Pacific (1-8).
