Update -- The Ducks, who have lost three straight, incurred another costly loss Saturday when an MRI showed defenseman Francois Beauchemin had a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee. Beauchemin was averaging 25 minutes, 35 seconds of ice time. The Ducks promoted defenseman Brett Festerling from their Iowa farm team. They also summoned winger Bobby Ryan, who had nine goals and 19 points in 14 games. The Kings will play their third back-to-back sequence this season. They lost a home-and-home against San Jose on Oct. 11-12 and won at St. Louis and lost at Nashville on Oct. 24-25. The Kings saw their four-game win streak end after a 3-1 loss to Nashville on Saturday.
