Miami 94, at Washington 87: Dwyane Wade had 19 points and 10 assists to lead six players in double figures for the Heat, which beat the Wizards for the second time in five days. Washington fell to 1-7, its worst start since 1999.

at Orlando 103, Toronto 90: Jameer Nelson scored a season-high 22 points and the Magic overcame a season-high 40-point effort by Chris Bosh, who also had 18 rebounds. The Magic has won eight of its last nine games.

at Golden State 111, Portland 106: Stephen Jackson scored 10 of his 20 points in the fourth quarter and the Warriors overcame Greg Oden’s 22 points and 10 rebounds.

at Lakers 116, Chicago 109: Pau Gasol scored 24 of his season-high 34 points in the first half to lead the Lakers.
