Update -- The regular-season finale for both teams is a potential preview of the Western Conference final. The teams have clinched the top two spots in the West and home-field advantage in the first round of the playoffs. Incredibly, but typically for the season, Chivas USA has 10 of its 28 players listed as either out, questionable or only probable because of injuries. Houston has everyone healthy but will be missing forward Kei Kamara, out because of a one-game suspension. Chivas USA lost, 4-0, in Texas in August and has not scored a goal against Houston in the last 573 minutes.
