at Atlanta 5, Washington 3: The Braves’ Kenshin Kawakami pitched six effective innings to win his major league debut.
at San Diego 6, San Francisco 3: Jake Peavy struck out 10 in 8 1/3 innings and Henry Blanco homered twice for the Padres.
Dodgers 11, at Arizona 2: Orlando Hudson homered, doubled and drove in three runs against his former team.
