at New York 4, Washington 3: Johan Santana struck out 10 in six innings for the Mets, and Carlos Beltran tripled and got his 1,000th career RBI.
Milwaukee 5, at Houston 2: Yovani Gallardo pitched a five-hitter for his first career complete game, and the Brewers won their third straight.
Atlanta 4, at Cincinnati 3: Jeff Francoeur’s solo homer was one of only four hits for the Braves, who took advantage of a career-high seven walks by the Reds’ Edinson Volquez.
San Francisco 5, at Arizona 1: Tim Lincecum gave up five hits and struck out 12 in eight innings.
at San Diego 4, Pittsburgh 3 (11 innings): Brian Giles singled in the winning run in the bottom of the 11th.
Dodgers 6, at Colorado 5: Brad Ausmus singled in James Loney with the winning run in the ninth.
