Knicks end Nets’ win ‘streak’ -- at one

at New York 106, New Jersey 97: Larry Hughes scored 16 of his 25 points in the third quarter, and the Knicks sent the Nets back to their losing ways. Al Harrington had 26 points and 14 rebounds for New York, which won for the third time in four games. Chris Douglas-Roberts scored 26 points for New Jersey, which had defeated Charlotte on Friday night for its first victory after an NBA-record 18 consecutive losses to begin the season.

Miami 115, at Sacramento 102: Dwyane Wade had 34 points and 10 assists for the Heat, which never trailed. Michael Beasley had 20 points, helping Miami beat Sacramento for the 11th time in 12 games. Quentin Richardson made five three-pointers and also had 20 points. Rookie Tyreke Evans scored 30 points for the Kings.

at Detroit 98, Washington 94: Rodney Stuckey scored 25 points and Charlie Villanueva had 18 as the Pistons won in Wizards Coach Flip Saunders’ first game at the Palace of Auburn Hills since being fired by Detroit after the 2007-08 season. Caron Butler had 20 points and 10 rebounds, and Earl Boykins scored 18 for the Wizards.

at Lakers 108, Phoenix 88: The well-rested Lakers, playing only their second game in five days, improved their league-best record to 16-3 with an easy victory over the well-traveled Suns, who were playing in their sixth city in 10 days.
