Knott’s takeover: An article in Friday’s Business section about Apollo Global Management’s buyout of Knott’s Berry Farm’s parent, Cedar Fair, said the California Public Employees’ Retirement System had paid $46 million in fees to Alfred Villalobos, a placement agent working for Apollo. It was Apollo that paid the fees.

Climate summit: An article in Thursday’s Section A on negotiations over greenhouse gas emissions from international aviation and maritime shipping said the International Maritime Organization was a trade organization. It is the maritime agency of the United Nations and sets international regulations applying to shipping worldwide.

Doug Benson: The “My Favorite Weekend” feature in Friday’s Calendar section referred to Doug Benson’s comedy CD as “Uneven Load.” The title is “Unbalanced Load.”

Movies with early ‘60s settings: An article in Wednesday’s Envelope about a number of recent movies set in the early 1960s, before the social upheavals of the latter part of the decade, included “A Serious Man” on the list. Though those cultural changes had yet to set in for the characters in that film, it is in fact set in 1967.
