Bucks beat Nets; New Jersey’s Yi Jianlian injured

Nets forward Yi Jianlian, who had 16 points, broke his pinkie finger on his right hand late in the third quarter and will sit out three to four weeks. “I was trying to steal the ball. Real quick slap on the finger,” Yi said.

at Orlando 121, Atlanta 87: The Magic ran off a season-high 41 points in the first quarter and led by 38 points at halftime. Orlando’s starters, led by Hedo Turkoglu’s 21 points, were a combined 24 for 39 from the field, including 10 for 13 on three-point shots.

at Philadelphia 93, Charlotte 87: The 76ers had a 20-4 fastbreak edge, and their shooting percentage hovered around 60% through three quarters. After the Bobcats cut their deficit to six in the fourth quarter, Philadelphia went on a 10-3 run to close it out.

at Toronto 103, Memphis 82: Chris Bosh had 32 points on 11-for-13 shooting, and Andrea Bargnani scored 21. Bargnani is averaging 21.7 points as a starter in the last six games in place of injured Jermaine O’Neal.

Houston 98, at Oklahoma City 96: The Rockets wasted a 15-point second-half lead, but Tracy McGrady scored 26 points and made two free throws with 8.2 seconds left to lead the victory. Houston’s Yao Ming did not make his first basket until early in the third quarter, missed a dunk later in that quarter and committed two offensive fouls in the fourth quarter. But the 7-foot-6 center scored nine of his 14 points in the final 4:22. “We just beat the Celtics,” Yao said of his motivation in the closing minutes. “You don’t want to lose here. That was in my head.”

at Chicago 98, Washington 86: Ben Gordon made up for four turnovers with 22 points, and Larry Hughes scored 12 of his 17 points in the fourth quarter for the Bulls after getting booed for most of the night because he has said he wants to be traded if he can’t get more minutes.

Detroit 93, at Denver 90: Tayshaun Prince made a running jumper with 20 seconds left, Arron Afflalo made six straight free throws after that, and the Pistons overcame 30 points by former Piston Chauncey Billups to win in Allen Iverson’s return to the Mile High city. Iverson made only two of 12 shots through the first three quarters but finished with 23 points on the strength of nine-for-11 free-throw shooting.

Miami 119, at Sacramento 115: Dwyane Wade scored nine of his 41 points in overtime to lead the Heat. Wade, who scored Miami’s final five points in overtime, went down hard on a flagrant foul by Spencer Hawes in the extra period. After lying under the basket for more than a minute, Wade got up and made one of two free throws for a 112-110 lead at the 2:01 mark.

at Phoenix 128, Dallas 100, OT: Shaquille O’Neal had 25 points and 10 rebounds and the Suns outscored the Mavericks, 40-19, in the third quarter to pull away. Phoenix made 13 of its first 15 shots in the second half and finished the third quarter with 17-for-22 shooting. The 40 points were the most given up by Dallas in a quarter this season. Dirk Nowitzki scored 19 for Dallas, and Josh Howard had 16 before departing because of a sprained left wrist in the third quarter. Howard was hurt when he hit the court after going up for a rebound.

at New Orleans 107, Clippers 80: The Clippers haven’t won in New Orleans since April 20, 2005.

at Lakers 121, Indiana 119: Kobe Bryant scored the Lakers’ last 11 points in the victory.
