Gonzaga 83, at Pepperdine 69: Josh Heytvelt scored a season-high 25 points and Matt Bouldin delivered a career-high 10 assists to lead the Bulldogs (12-4, 4-0) over the Waves (4-16, 1-3) in a West Coast Conference game. It was the fifth straight victory for Gonzaga, which scored the first 17 points of the game. Keion Bell led Pepperdine with 19 points and a career-high 12 rebounds.

at UC Davis 89, UC Santa Barbara 75: Vince Oliver had 21 points and five assists and David Carter scored 13 points to lead the Aggies (9-10, 4-2) over the Gauchos (8-10, 2-4) in a Big West game. Oliver missed four of his first five shots in the second half, but found his rhythm and scored 13 points to help Davis pull away. Chris Devine scored 27 points for Santa Barbara.

Portland 75, at Loyola Marymount 59: Nik Raivio had 15 points and 15 rebounds to lead the Pilots (12-7, 3-1) over the Lions (1-19, 0-4) in a WCC game. Portland went on a 17-2 run, including five three-pointers, to open the second half and break open a close game. Ethan Niedermeyer’s basket with 14:18 left in the game gave Portland a 55-37 lead.

WOMEN

at USC 90, Washington 82: Nadia Parker had team highs of 26 points and nine rebounds to lead the Trojans (10-7) over the Huskies (5-11, 1-5) in a Pacific 10 Conference game. Sami Whitcomb matched Parker’s point total to lead Washington. Four other USC players finished in double figures, including Brynn Cameron, who scored 18 points including three three-pointers. On defense, USC forced 25 turnovers and held Washington to 37.7% shooting.

at UCLA 83, Washington State 48: Doreena Campbell scored 15 points as the Bruins (13-4, 4-2) cruised over the Cougars (8-9, 1-5) in a Pac-10 game. Nina Earl (12 points) and Erica Tukianien (11 points) were the only other UCLA players in double figures, though no Bruin played more than 26 minutes. UCLA took a 38-22 halftime lead by shooting 60.9% from the field. Overall, the Bruins shot 55.4% and forced 29 turnovers.
