Celtics beat Heat to clinch Atlantic Division title

Boston was without Kevin Garnett for the 13th straight game because of a strained right knee and Ray Allen, who hyperextended his elbow Tuesday night in a loss at Chicago.

at New Orleans 94, Minnesota 93: Chris Paul capped a 26-point, 10-assist, five-steal performance by setting up David West’s dunk with 12.6 seconds left that gave the Hornets the victory.

Orlando 106, at Milwaukee 80: Dwight Howard had 28 points, 12 rebounds and seven assists to help the Magic to its eighth win in 10 games.

at Houston 106, Detroit 101 (2OT): Yao Ming scored 31 points and Ron Artest had 26 for the Rockets, who scored the first 10 points of the second overtime.


Denver 111, at Memphis 109: Carmelo Anthony scored 35 points, including the go-ahead three-point play with 33.2 seconds remaining, to help the Nuggets overcome a 17-point second-half deficit.

New Jersey 115, at New York 89: Vince Carter scored 29 points and the Nets salvaged the final game of a five-game trip.

at Charlotte 104, Sacramento 88: Gerald Wallace had 25 points and 12 rebounds and the Bobcats beat the Kings, who are 0-28 against teams from the Eastern Conference.

Chicago 103, at Oklahoma City 96: Derrick Rose scored 20 of his 25 points and didn’t miss a shot in the second half as the Bulls ended a road losing streak at seven games.
