Kings tonight
AT ATLANTA
When: 4:30 p.m. PST.
Where: Philips Arena.
On the air: TV: FS West. Radio: 1150.
Records: Kings: 11-6-2; Thrashers: 8-6-1.
Record vs. Thrashers (2008-09): 0-1-0.
Update: Jonathan Quick will start in goal after he sat out the Kings’ 5-2 victory Wednesday over Carolina. Erik Ersberg played against the Hurricanes partly because Quick gave up three third-period goals in a loss to Chicago. Defenseman Randy Jones played in place of Sean O’Donnell on Wednesday, finishing with a goal and an assist in his first appearance since the Kings claimed him off waivers from Philadelphia. Atlanta is 3-3-0 since captain Ilya Kovalchuk suffered a broken bone in his right foot Oct. 24 against San Jose.
