NFL WEEK 6

Key: Ryan Succop, the last player picked in last spring’s NFL draft, kicked four field goals to help give the Chiefs their first win -- avoiding their first 0-6 start in team history -- and the Redskins couldn’t get a jump-start with backup quarterback Todd Collins.

Chiefs said: “We made it pretty difficult, right down to the end. We’ve pushed through a very difficult period. We needed to get some positive reinforcement with a win.” -- Todd Haley, coach, who earned his first career win

Redskins said: “This offense is better than six points, 100%. And that’s on me. It’s my fault.” -- Jim Zorn, coach, before it was announced by team officials he would no longer be calling plays
