Teemu Selanne didn’t practice Thursday because of a sore groin but is expected to play. Detroit goaltender Chris Osgood is back after missing a month because of a groin injury, but Jimmy Howard is expected to start against the Ducks, with Osgood returning against the Kings on Saturday. Red Wings center Henrik Zetterberg is coming off a four-point performance — two goals and two assists — at San Jose on Tuesday.
