POP MUSIC

Bebe Buell It’s no secret that Bebe Buell has played “muse” to her share of celebrities and rock stars (she’s Liv Tyler’s mother), but the sultry alto also has a successful career as a singer, as evinced by her latest LP, “Sugar.” She shares the Roxy stage with other luminaries Gary Myrick and the Figures, plus the aptly-named Model/Actress. Roxy Theatre. 9009 Sunset Blvd. 7:30 pm. $10 advance, $12 day of show. (310) 276-2222. https://theroxyonsunset.com.

Brian Jonestown Massacre Anton Newcombe’s experimental neo-psychedelic juggernaut treats the Southland to a rare live appearance. The volatile frontman will lead the band through material from its recent release, the slow-burning, electronic-heavy “Who Killed Sgt. Pepper?” which was recorded in Iceland and Berlin. Music Box Theatre, 6126 Hollywood Blvd., Hollywood. 8 p.m. $20. (323) 464-0808. www.henryfondatheater.com.
