Update: The Clippers are on the same pace as last year after five games. They have lost seven straight games in Denver, and their last win there was Jan. 27, 2006. Denver’s Nene missed Wednesday’s game against the Mavericks because of a sprained left groin and is day to day. The Clippers’ injured guards Randy Foye (hamstring) and Baron Davis (swollen left knee) are on the trip with the team but aren’t expected to play.
