Update: The Kings’ five-game home winning streak to start the season is the third-longest in club history, after the 7-0-0 records compiled by the 1975-76 and 1980-81 teams. However, the Kings have lost their last five home games against the Predators. Justin Williams has a four-game goal-scoring streak and a six-game point streak, with four goals and seven points in that span. Ryan Smyth will play his 1,000th NHL game. Jonathan Bernier is scheduled to start in goal. The Predators have lost three in a row since opening the season 5-0-3.
