Getting there

Spectators are urged to take Metro buses and the Red Line to the parade. Traffic and parking in the area can be difficult. Red Line stations are on Hollywood Boulevard near Highland Avenue and near Vine Street. Go to https://www.metro.net for routes and schedules or call (323) 466-3876. Parking is available at several lots in the area, including in the Hollywood & Highland Center ($2 for four hours with validation, $10 daily maximum).

Curbside viewing anywhere along the parade route is free. Grandstand tickets cost $35 and can be purchased by calling (866) 727-2331. Discounts are available for groups of 25 or more.

Street closures:

All weekend

* Hollywood Boulevard between Orange Drive and Highland Avenue from 12:01 a.m. Saturday to 6 a.m. Monday, as well as Orange between Hollywood and the alley north of Hawthorn Avenue.

Sunday

* Hollywood between La Brea Avenue and Orange, 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., and between Highland and Gower Street, 4 to 9 p.m.

* Hawthorn, De Longpre and Fountain avenues from La Brea to Highland, 1 to 9 p.m.

* El Cerrito Place between Hollywood and Franklin Avenue, 1 to 8 p.m.

* Sycamore Avenue and Orange between Fountain and Franklin, 1 to 9 p.m.

* Sunset Boulevard between La Brea and Highland, 1 to 10 p.m., and between Highland and Gower, 4 to 9 p.m.

* East side of La Brea between Sunset and Hollywood, 4 to 7 p.m.

* Highland between Santa Monica Boulevard and Franklin, 4 to 9 p.m.

* Vine between Santa Monica and Franklin, 4 to 9 p.m.

Offramp closures

* 101 Freeway offramps at Cahuenga Boulevard and at Highland from 3 to 10 p.m. Sunday.
