Jacquizz Rodgers finished with 145 yards and two touchdowns, and Ryan Katz passed for 260 yards and two touchdowns as host Oregon State (2-2, 1-0) held off Arizona State, 31-28, on Saturday.

Rodgers eclipsed the 100-yard mark for the 16th time in his career, scoring on a four-yard run in the first half before breaking off on a 74-yard run to the end zone in the second half to put the game out of reach for Arizona State (2-3, 0-2).

Following Rodgers’ second touchdown, Arizona State pulled to within three points after the Sun Devils made a two-point conversion following a 21-yard run by Cameron Marshall with less than three minutes left in the game. But it wasn’t enough.
