Sacramento County authorities say Lakers forward Matt Barnes has been arrested on suspicion of domestic violence.

Sheriff’s spokesman Sgt. Tim Curran says deputies arrested Barnes after responding to what was termed an incomplete 911 call from a home around 4:16 p.m. Wednesday.

Deputies say both Barnes and the woman had visible injuries, but took Barnes into custody after determining he had been the primary aggressor.

The name of the woman was not released, but she was described by authorities as “a woman who lived with him and with whom he had a dating relationship.”

Barnes was booked into the Sacramento County Jail on suspicion of domestic violence and maliciously obstructing the use of a telephone line.

He posted a $50,000 bond and was released.

Kings’ Schenn injured

Brayden Schenn, who was expected to contend for a spot centering the Kings’ second line this season, injured his knee while training and is scheduled to travel to Los Angeles for an MRI exam Thursday.

A Kings spokesman had no additional information and said further details would likely be available Thursday afternoon. Schenn was supposed to participate in the Kings’ rookie camp, which starts Saturday at the Toyota Sports Center in El Segundo.

Schenn, chosen fifth in the 2009 entry draft, appeared in one game for the Kings last season on an emergency basis on an amateur tryout contract and has been penciled in to center the second line, a crucial spot for a team that urgently needs production and has been weak up the middle.
