Erin Brockovich, made famous by Julia Roberts in the movie bearing her name, was arrested over the weekend in Nevada on suspicion of operating a boat while under the influence.

But her mug shot from the incident has quickly become the star of the show. While she doesn’t quite unseat the epic photo from “That ‘70s Show’s” Lisa Robin Kelly, it’s a close contest.

The legal assistant-turned-environmental activist, who now goes by Brockovich-Ellis, was arrested Friday on Lake Mead after a game warden noticed she was struggling to dock her boat, KTLA reported Sunday. A breath test was administered after slurred speech and unsteadiness were observed, and the results showed more than twice the state’s legal limit, according to the Nevada Department of Wildlife.

The mother of three released a statement over the weekend apologizing and explaining that she was not operating the boat in open water, only within its slip.

“After a day in the sun and with nothing to eat it appears that a couple of drinks had a greater impact than I had realized. ...,” she said in the statement, obtained by TMZ, which was first to report the news.

“At no time was the boat away from the dock and there was no public safety risk. That being said, I take drunk driving very seriously, this was clearly a big mistake, I know better and I am very sorry.”

Brockovich-Ellis was released on $1,000 bail.

Roberts won an Oscar for her portrayal in 2000’s “Erin Brockovich.”
