George Clooney might be the A-lister to cap off this summer’s celebrity wedding extravaganza.

“The Monuments Men” director and star spoke about his upcoming nuptials at Celebrity Fight Night on Sunday in Florence, where he attended the charity event with his fiance, human-rights lawyer Amal Alamuddin, and marked their first joint red-carpet appearance.

Clooney, 53, received the Humanitarian Award at the event, which benefits the Andrea Bocelli Foundation and the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center.

“I met my lovely bride-to-be here in Italy, whom I will be marrying, in a couple of weeks, in Venice, of all places,” the Oscar-winning producer said, according to People magazine, making him much more candid than pal Brad Pitt was when it comes to giving folks a pre-wedding heads-up.

The mag said the perennial bachelor’s attention was fixed on his Dolce & Gabbana-clad fiancee during the evening’s festivities.

Clooney’s wedding plans have kept the celebrity blogosphere interested since he popped the question to the London-based attorney back in April.

Rumor has it that that actor has rented “an entire island” for weekend-long festivities, WWD said in August. Though Clooney owns a home in Lake Como, Italy, Page Six reported last month that it didn’t afford sufficient privacy. The wedding date is reportedly Sept. 20.

Clooney and Alamuddin, 36, have reportedly already obtained their marriage license in London.

The actor is rumored to be wearing Armani for the affair, and Alamuddin was spotted leaving Alexander McQueen’s London atelier, sparking talk that she’d opt for Kate Middleton’s royal wedding couturier, E! News reported.
