Madonna and Guy Ritchie’s hearing over custody of son Rocco Ritchie was postponed on Wednesday until March 2 -- which gives sources on both sides of the disagreement an additional month to lob anonymous gossip grenades.

Back in December, a judge granted the singer’s request to have Rocco, 15, come back to New York from his dad’s place in London before any changes were made in the exes’ custody agreement. Rocco, you see, wants to live with his director dad, not his Material Mom.

Then on Wednesday, TMZ reported that the hearing set for that day had been pushed back a month and noted that while no reason was given for the delay, such changes are typically linked to negotiations between the parties involved.

A flood of sourced dish -- in the vein of late December rumblings that Rocco had been “miserable” being hauled around the world by his mom on her “Rebel Heart” tour -- followed that news.

“It’s really horrible,” a Madonna-linked source told Us Weekly. “She feels incredibly hurt” about her son’s desire to live with his father, who’s not as strict as she is.

“Madonna thinks Guy is turning her son against her” by dissing her in front of her kid, the insider said. “He’s telling Rocco he should stay with him. It seems like he’s trying to brainwash the kid.”

Perhaps life with dad looks better because, as a movie-biz buddy of Ritchie told Page Six, Rocco thinks his mom tries to micromanage his life. Also, living in London is apparently easier on the kid.

“When he’s in England ... he can go about his business and talk to girls without paparazzi stalking him, as Guy has carved out a pretty private existence for his family,” the Ritchie associate said, whereas in New York, everyone apparently tries to get a piece of Madonna via her son.

The singer reportedly wants her kids to work harder than her ex does.

“Madonna thinks Guy has pretty much told Rocco that if he wants out of education, he can quit now,” a person close to the pop diva told People. “You can’t blame him for wanting to live with someone who will let him run wild.”

Between legs of her tour, Madonna reportedly traveled to London to try to persuade Rocco to return to New York. She was, People said, unsuccessful.

Looks as if Rocco will be staying on the wild side of the Pond until March.
