The grand finale of awards season is finally here! The 90th Academy Awards are underway at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood. The ceremony, hosted by Jimmy Kimmel for the second year in a row, is being broadcast live on ABC.

Nine films are vying for the top prize of the night in what many consider a wide open race in the best picture field. Will “Get Out” carry its momentum from the Spirit Awards and walk away with the win? Or will “The Shape of Water,” which leads the field with 13 nominations, be crowned the top movie of the year?

Is there any way for the 2018 Oscars to top the drama of last year’s best picture snafu?
