Goldie Hawn

The first breakout star of the comedy-variety series, Hawn was the show’s loopy hippie who would giggle and often flub her lines. Hawn won the supporting actress Oscar for 1969’s “Cactus Flower.”

The late actor was best known on the show as “The Poet” — complete with Nehru jacket and an artificial flower — and a Catholic priest zinging one-liners. He gave a powerful dramatic turn as a famous country-western singer in Robert Altman’s 1975 film “Nashville.”

Lily Tomlin

The comedic actress joined the cast in 1969 and quickly became a hit with her characters Ernestine, Edith Ann and the Tasteful Lady. She earned an Oscar nomination for “Nashville,” two Tonys, a Grammy and several Emmys.
