Questlove Instagrams awesome Amber Tamblyn-David Cross wedding

There are moments when a celebrity’s celebrity friends can compromise privacy.

Think Kelly Rowland letting slip that Beyonce and Jay-Z were expecting a baby girl, or Lance Bass confirming Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel’s engagement by gabbing about wedding gifts.

But in the case of Amber Tamblyn and David Cross, the relatively low-flying actress and comedian, a famous friend underscored how awesome their recent wedding was and how many other bold names enjoyed celebrating the day.

Questlove, he of Jimmy Fallon’s house band the Roots and clearly a friend of the couple, provided a gorgeous narrative for the nuptials by posting a series of photos to his Instagram account on Monday.

Among the sweet images is one stunner of Tamblyn rocking a yellow dress to say “I Do” (above), arriving to her ceremony barefoot via canoe.

While the location wasn’t disclosed, Quest created the hashtag topic “#weddinginthewoods” and also referred to the grounds as a “camp.” Like we needed the help — Amber’s bridal march had some support from breathtaking fall foliage set against a lake.

The rocker’s pics revealed a guest list consisting of newlyweds Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, America Ferrera, Amy Poehler, Alexis Bledel and “30 Rock”’s Kristen Schaal.

He also gave away that impersonators were hired to entertain guests, like Jackie Gleason’s famous curmudgeon from “The Honeymooners” and a sweet-looking reception dessert that had renderings of Cross and Tamblyn as foxes.
