The National brings ‘Trouble Will Find Me’ to the Greek Theatre

The National has pulled off the neat trick of making miserablism feel arena-ready and anthemic. Over many albums the Ohio-reared, New York-based group applied its deep baritones, guitar crescendos and bleak humor to increasingly bigger ends. Now, with its latest album “Trouble Will Find Me,” it feels as sonically huge as the ‘80s acts (U2, the Cure) it once emulated. Greek Theatre, 2700 N. Vermont Ave., L.A. 7:30 p.m. Sat. $39.50. greektheatrela.com.
