Taylor Eigsti at the Blue Whale

A New York-based pianist who began as something of a prodigy (he was leading his own band at 12 years old), Taylor Eigsti earned a pair of Grammy nominations in 2006 but hasn’t stood pat since then. His 2010 album included covers of songs by Elliott Smith and Imogen Heap, and for this performance he’ll be joined by a water-tight band that includes drummer Eric Harland and saxophonist Dayna Stephens.
