Garth Brooks brings his world tour back to Southern California with his first concert in Anaheim in 20 years when he plays the Honda Center on Sept. 17.
Tickets will go on sale July 29 at 10 a.m. PST and will cost $74.98, including facility and service fees.
The Garth Brooks World Tour has made two California stops to date, with six performances in Sacramento in March and April of last year, and five shows in San Diego in November.
If the pattern that’s played out to date holds, additional performances in Anaheim are likely to be added as ticket demand dictates.
Since launching Sept. 4, 2014, in Rosemont, Ill., the tour has visited nearly 50 cities with multiple shows in each stop, totaling almost 250 performances. Brooks is joined on the tour by his wife, singer Trisha Yearwood.
Brooks had taken a 17-year hiatus from touring while devoting most of his time and attention to raising his three daughters. He said he would go back on the road only after all three had gone off to college.
In 2014 he also released “Man Against Machine,” his first studio album since 2001’s “Scarecrow.”
Brooks has rolled out the stops on the tour one city at a time. It is expected he will play the Los Angeles market at some point, but no details have been confirmed.
