The Rolling Stones will kick off a North American tour this spring at San Diego’s Petco Park on May 24, and will re-release its 1971 album “Sticky Fingers” around the same time.

Tickets will go on sale for the Rolling Stones’ new tour April 13, but American Express card holders can purchase tickets on April 8.

The Rolling Stones announced the tour on its site, Facebook page and Twitter on Tuesday morning, and its site was apparently overwhelmed with traffic.

The band celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2012 with a brief tour.
