Contestants include Laila Ali, Dean Cain, Terry Crews, Nick Lachey, Todd Palin, Picabo Street, Dolvett Quince and Eve Torres. Samantha Harris and retired Gen. Wesley Clark host (8 p.m. NBC).

Hotel Hell: What he does for restaurants on “Kitchen Nightmares,” Gordon Ramsay does for lodgings in this new series (8 p.m. Fox).

Air Jaws Apocalypse: Reloaded: High-tech cameras capture footage of a 14-foot white (8 p.m. Discovery).

Grimm: The supernatural series returns for a new season (10 p.m. NBC).

Gallery Girls: Seven young New Yorkers tackle the environment of the art world while vying for their dream jobs and attending gallery openings, art shows and the hottest social events in the city in this new unscripted series (10 p.m. Bravo).

Teen Wolf: Scott and his friends try to discover Gerard’s master plan in the season finale (10 p.m. MTV).

MythBusters: Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman of count down their top 25 shark myths of all time in this new episode (10 p.m. Discovery).

Major Crimes: Brenda Johnson is gone, but the Major Crimes Division lives on in this spinoff of “The Closer.” Several cast members from that series, led by Mary McDonnell as LAPD Capt. Sharon Raydor, reprise their roles in the season premiere (10:05 p.m. TNT).

Sharkzilla: In this new Shark Week special, Kari Byron, Grant Imahara and Tory Belleci of “MythBusters” design and build the largest shark ever to live on the planet: the now-extinct megalodon (9 p.m. Discovery).
