Abducted: The Carlina White Story: In this remarkable true story, Joy White and Carl Tyson (Sherri Shepherd, Roger Cross) take their infant daughter to a Harlem Hospital in New York with a high fever. Shortly after the baby is admitted, she is abducted by a disturbed young woman (Aunjanue Ellis) posing as a nurse (8 p.m. Lifetime). The new special “Beyond the Headlines: The Carlina White Story” follows at 10 p.m.

50/50: After learning that he has malignant tumors along his spine, a young man (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) vows to beat his illness in this 2011 comedy-drama, which writer Will Reiser based on his own bout with cancer. Bryce Dallas Howard, Seth Rogen and Anna Kendrick also star (8 p.m. Showtime).
