Kids’ Choice Awards: Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez ... and Bon Jovi?

Share

The awards season is finally in full swing: Nickelodeon has unveiled its list of nominees for the 2013 Kids’ Choice Awards. And just like every year, it’s an eclectic bunch.

Jennifer Lawrence, Kristen Stewart and Scarlett Johansson will compete in the mighty prestigious favorite female buttkicker category (as well as favorite movie actress). Other nominees include Nickelodeon heavyweights Miranda Cosgrove, along with Disney stars Bridgit Mendler and Selena Gomez in the favorite TV actress category. Last year’s winner for favorite music group Big Time Rush will battle Maroon 5, One Direction and the slightly older Bon Jovi in the same category this year. (It should be noted that Jon Bon Jovi took home the blimp for favorite male singer/group in 1989. So don’t rule out a win for the whole band!)

Actor Josh Duhamel (who has been making the rounds as of late to promote his role in Nicholas Sparks’ latest chick drama “Safe Haven”) will host the extravaganza of mini-orange blimps and slime March 23.

Beginning Feb. 14, voting-inclined viewers can cast their pick in the 22 categories on Nick.com.
