NBC announces fall premiere dates

NBC has announced the premiere dates of its fall schedule, beginning with the return of “The Voice” with its original lineup of coaches.

Christina Aguilera, CeeLo Green, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton will all return for the fifth season of “The Voice,” which debuts on Monday, Sept. 23. Immediately after the two-hour premiere is the series debut of “The Blacklist,” the thriller starring James Spader as an international criminal who has suddenly decided to start assisting the FBI in taking down other criminals. (Taking out the competition? Perhaps.)

Tuesday, Sept. 24, is the second-season debut of “Chicago Fire” after the second installment of “The Voice.”

“Revolution” and “Law & Order: SVU” return on Wednesday, Sept. 25.

On Thursday, Sept. 26, “Parks and Recreation” will return with an hour-long episode, followed by two episodes of the new “Michael J. Fox Show.” The season premiere of “Parenthood” follows.

“Dateline NBC” returns on Friday, Sept. 27.

Further down the line, the Blair Underwood lawyer drama “Ironside” will have its series debut Oct. 2.

New comedies “Welcome to the Family” and “Sean Saves the World” will premiere on Oct. 3.

“The Biggest Loser” returns on Oct. 8. And finally the third season of “Grimm” and the series premiere of “Dracula” will both air on Oct. 25. (Yes, it’s the week before Halloween.)
