Harry Styles of One Direction wins British Style Award

Harry Styles of One Direction took home the British Style Award at the British Fashion Awards on Monday in London. The 19-year-old received the award from Alexa Chung, herself the winner for the last three years, and model Jack Guinness. He beat out other nominees including David Beckham, Cara Delevingne and the Duchess of Cambridge for the honor, the only category in the British Fashion Awards that is decided by a vote of the public. Others of the night’s winners included Christopher Kane as designer of the year, Christopher Bailey of Burberry as menswear designer of the year, Burberry as designer label of the year and Miuccia Prada as international designer of the year. [Telegraph]

Later Styles and Chung joined guests including Rita Ora and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley at a party thrown by designer Marc Jacobs at London’s Playboy club in honor of Playboy magazine’s 60th anniversary and Kate Moss’ turn as cover girl in the January issue. [Telegraph]

The Kardashians’ annual Christmas card is out, and it pictures family members camping it up in a what looks like a highly stylized fashion shoot at a circus or cinema multiplex. Among other things the photo by David LaChapelle has Kim posed next to a dollar sign, Kris Jenner under a graffiti tag that says “fame” and Bruce Jenner isolated in a cashier’s booth. [People]
