Tie the Knot pops up at the Beverly Center through Jan. 10

A year after launching their collection-for-a-cause line of bow ties with Chicago-based online neckwear purveyor the Tie Bar, actor Jesse Tyler Ferguson and lawyer husband Justin Mikita are taking their ties to local bricks-and-mortar retail -- at least temporarily.

The Tie the Knot pop-up, which will be located on the seventh floor of the Beverly Center near Macy’s and across from Tiffany’s (in a space formerly occupied by Dodo) starting today, will be stocking ties from the label’s just-released fourth collection that includes a Pro-Athlete All-Star guest designer series with pieces by former NFL player Scott Fujita, current pro-football player Chris Kluwe and WNBA player Brittney Griner.

In addition, the pop-up will be offering every previously sold-out design back to the line’s November 2012 launch (including guest-designed pieces by Isaac Mizrahi and George Takei, among others) as well as a selection of other men’s furnishings from the Tie Bar, such as pocket squares, scarves and cufflinks.

All proceeds from the sale of the $25 handmade, self-tie bow ties will be donated to charities that promote marriage equality on behalf of the LGBT community, as well as a portion of proceeds from the rest of the merchandise being offered.

The Tie the Knot by the Tie Bar pop-up is scheduled to be open through the holiday season, and “pop down” on Jan. 10.
