Share

If you’re bloated, still stuffed and checking out gym memberships today, you know you did good at your Super Bowl bowl party last night. Sure the game was exciting, and Beyonce rocked the half-time show, but the game day munchies were where the real fun was at. During Monday morning’s #Weekendeats chat, participants shared their game day snacks. A Buffalo chicken dip, seven layer dessert dip and classic wings are just a taste of what everyone ate this weekend. Here are the highlights:

What’s a Super Bowl party without the wings? Jo from the blog My Last Bite shared a photo of chef Ludo Lefebvre’s garlic chicken, Shirley from the blog Lovely Lanvin shared a recipe of her tebasaki, Japanese grilled chicken wings with sea salt, and Brooks Walker from the blog Cakewalker shared a photo for his classic buffalo wings.

For a little dip action, Jocelyn from the blog Saucy Jocey’s Kitchen shared a recipe for her classic guacamole and an over-the-top Buffalo chicken wing dip that puts everything you love about wings into a dip. Jenn from the blog Just Jenn Recipes also shared a recipe for her chocolate-dipped Fritos.

For the sandwich kings, Pamela of the blog My Man’s Belly shared a recipe for her outrageous super sandwich made with pepperoni, turkey, roast beef, pastrami and salami, and Brooks Walker shared a photo of his pepperoni stuffed bread filled with pepperoni, three cheeses and marinara.

The cheese board also made an appearance with Sarah Simms, a.k.a. LaFemmeEpicure’s photo of an impressive cheese and charcuterie board.

For dessert, Brooks Walker shared a post on decorating his impressive championship cupcakes and Michelle Jenkins from Daily Waffle made a seven-layer dessert dip with Nutella, caramel sauce, cream cheese whipped cream, strawberries, banana, pretzel and Saltine crumbs and chocolate pudding. Whoa.
