Lady Gaga’s new ‘Applause’ video shows off her clown-face makeup

Lady Gaga appears in clown face and, at times, an odd-looking shave-side hairstyle in the lyric video for her single “Applause,” which is from her forthcoming “ARTPOP” album. The video was posted on YouTube this week, and other than the makeup, Gaga looks much more normal than she usually does in performance.

Enough of this maternity leave business. Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, plans to return to her royal duties by appearing with her husband at a charity dinner Sept. 12, less than two months after giving birth to little Prince George on July 22. [People]
