DineL.A. restaurant week, the L.A. Tourism and Convention Board’s 14-day restaurant event, is back for the summer. From July 13 to 26, restaurants all over the city will offer bargain prix-fixe menus.
Think of it as a time to try that expensive restaurant on your to-do list at a discounted price.
DineL.A. newcomers Cadet, Hyde Sunset Kitchen + Cocktails, Royal and The District by Hannah An join more than 300 participating restaurants, all offering lunch menus priced at $15, $20 or $25 and/or dinner menus priced at $30, $40 or $50.
New Santa Monica restaurant Aestus has a $20 lunch menu with smoked salmon tartine, steamed mussels or a chicken quinoa bowl and millet pudding or chocolate ganache; Cadet is offering a $25 lunch menu and $50 dinner menu; and if you’ve been saving up to go to Wolfgang Puck at the Bel Air Hotel, the restaurant has a $50 dinner menu with three courses and optional wine pairings for an additional $35.
Some restaurants will also be offering menus that are 15% off the regular price, as well as creating special dishes just for restaurant week.
Other returning restaurants participating include Connie & Ted’s, Fogo de Chao, Gracias Madre, Loteria Grill and Sushi Roku.
