The Larder at Burton Way is introducing a fried chicken night every Thursday. The dinner includes Suzanne Goin’s Tennessee sweet tea-brined fried chicken, coleslaw, cavalo nero and house-baked cornbread. Umami Burger founder Adam Fleischman is teaming up with Crossroads chef Tal Ronnen for a plant-based tasting menu Sunday. It’s part of Crossroads restaurant’s Sunday Supper series. Sunday’s dinner is a three-course prix-fixe menu with items meant to give Crossroad’s vegan clientele a taste of Umami Burger’s signature flavors, without the meat. Menu items include fried pickles, hearts of romaine Caesar salad, french fries or onion rings, a truffle burger with homemade truffle cheese, a hatch burger with chiles and nut cheese and a Cali burger with slow-roasted tomato. For dessert, a banana split or a milkshake. An optional Golden Road Brewery beer flight is available for $10. The menu is available for $45 with 5, 7 and 9 p.m. seatings.
