Wondering what the top restaurants in the country are? Well, Bon Appetit has its list, Jonathan Gold has his list for the best 101 in Los Angeles, and now, the Yelp community is weighing in.

The peer restaurant review website released its list of the top 100 places to eat in the country based on last year’s Yelp reviews. The No. 1 restaurant isn’t the French Laundry, Per Se or Rose’s Luxury, a Washington spot Bon Appetit restaurant editor Andrew Knowlton picked as the best new restaurant of 2014.

According to Yelpers, the best place to eat in the country is Copper Top BBQ in Big Pine, Calif. The restaurant is open for seven hours a day, five days a week, and serves Santa Maria tri-tip, pulled pork sandwiches, burgers and ribs. It has received 217 Yelp reviews and has a five-star rating.

Second on the list is Art of Flavors, a gelato scoop shop in Las Vegas, followed by Soho Japanese Restaurant, also in Las Vegas; TKB Bakery and Deli in Indio; and Ono Seafood in Honolulu, Hawaii.

And according to the list, California reigns supreme when it comes to restaurants. Out of the 100 restaurants listed, 45 are located in California, and just three are located in New York.

Restaurants from Los Angeles that made the cut include Saffron and Rose Ice Cream at 19, Bronzed Aussie at 55, Joe’s Falafel at 44 and Araya’s Place Thai Vegan Restaurant at 43.

Last year, Da Poke Shack, a small Hawaii restaurant in a shopping center, ranked first.
