Jennifer McClain tallied 22 points, 17 rebounds and five steals to lead host El Camino Real in the season opener for both squads.
L.A. Hamilton 65, South Gate 44
Heather Sutherland had 12 points, nine rebounds, five assists and six steals to lead host Hamilton (1-0). Amelia Perez scored 26 for South Gate.
Reseda 69, Locke 35
Clarissa Ricks had 33 points and 20 rebounds and Chelsea Pacub added 13 points and 10 assists to lead visiting Reseda (1-0).
Roosevelt 44, Eagle Rock 22
Maria Esqueda had 15 points and four steals and Adriana Lopez added 12 points and 12 rebounds to lead host Roosevelt (1-0).
